Tendido Cero
A proper Spanish tapas restaurant on the Fulham Road that has been quietly excellent for years. The Iberico ham is sliced to order, the croquetas are textbook, and the wine list is all-Spanish and surprisingly deep.
The Aragon House Putney
A striking venue on the Putney riverfront with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Thames. The cocktail list is inventive, the weekend brunch draws crowds from across SW15, and the sunset views from the terrace are some of the best in south west London.
Under the Bridge
A 600-capacity live music and events venue built into the stands of Stamford Bridge. The programming spans live bands, comedy, club nights, and private events. The sound system is excellent, and the Chelsea FC connection adds a unique twist.
King's Road Boutiques
The King's Road remains one of London's great shopping streets. Beyond the high street chains, you will find independent boutiques, vintage shops, and design studios stretching from Sloane Square all the way down to World's End. The stretch between Beaufort Street and the Fulham Road turn-off is particularly rewarding.

The Gore London
A stunning boutique hotel near the Royal Albert Hall with interiors that are part museum, part theatrical stage set. Every room is different, the walls are covered in original prints and antiques, and Bar 190 downstairs is one of London's best hotel bars.
San Domenico House Chelsea
An intimate boutique hotel in a Victorian townhouse on Draycott Place, just off Sloane Square. The rooms are decorated with antiques and original art, the rooftop terrace overlooks Chelsea rooftops, and the location is perfect for the King's Road.
Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre
The main shopping centre in the heart of Fulham, right above the Tube station. A practical mix of high street names, a cinema, and food outlets. Not glamorous, but genuinely useful for the weekly essentials and a convenient meeting point for the area.
Blue Elephant Chelsea
A Thai restaurant on the Fulham Road that transports you straight to Bangkok. The interior is a tropical garden, the Sunday brunch buffet is legendary in SW6, and the green curry sets the standard for the whole area.
The Phene Chelsea
A beautiful Chelsea pub on Phene Street with one of the best gardens in SW3. By day it is a civilised lunch spot, by night it transforms into a lively bar with DJs on weekends. The garden is magical on a warm evening.

The River Cafe
Ruth Rogers' Thames-side Italian has been setting the standard for seasonal simplicity since 1987. The wood-fired oven, the open kitchen, and the river views make this one of London's most special dining experiences.
The Half Moon Putney
One of London's great live music pubs, right on Putney High Street. The Rolling Stones, U2, and Kate Bush all played here early in their careers. The live music programme is still going strong, and the pub itself is a proper, honest local.
North End Road Market
One of London's oldest street markets, running along North End Road six days a week. Fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, household goods, and the kind of bargains that have been drawing Fulham locals here for over a century. Best visited on a Saturday morning.

Lots Road Pub & Dining Room
Tucked away at the Chelsea end of Lots Road, this gastropub serves honest British cooking with seasonal menus. The Sunday roast is one of the best in SW10, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a genuine neighbourhood favourite.
The Temperance Fulham
A stylish bar on the Fulham Road with a well-curated cocktail list and an excellent selection of wines by the glass. The interiors are moody and intimate, making it one of the better spots for a proper drink in SW6.

606 Club Chelsea
A basement jazz club on Lots Road that has been at the heart of London's live jazz scene for decades. The room is intimate, the musicians are world-class, and the atmosphere is everything a jazz club should be. Booking is essential.
Sydney House Chelsea
A small, elegant hotel on Sydney Street in the heart of Chelsea. The Georgian townhouse has been tastefully converted with contemporary interiors, and the location puts you within walking distance of the King's Road, Fulham Road, and South Kensington.
Manuka Kitchen
A Kiwi-inspired kitchen serving some of Fulham's best brunch. The corn fritters, halloumi stack, and flat whites are all outstanding. Arrive early at weekends or prepare to queue.
Medlar
One of Chelsea's finest neighbourhood restaurants. The set lunch is one of London's best-kept secrets - serious cooking at fair prices on the King's Road.
Colbert
The Corbin & King all-day brasserie on Sloane Square that does everything from morning croissants to late-night steak frites. A Chelsea meeting point that never disappoints.
Elystan Street
Phil Howard's Michelin-starred Chelsea restaurant. Refined, seasonal cooking that lets ingredients speak - the kind of quietly excellent neighbourhood restaurant every area wishes it had.
